As NASHA is not of animal or human origin a skintest is not needed and this means that you can have the treatment done immediately.

Depending on the effects desired, an initial treatment is usually maintained with occasional follow-up treatments. Together with your doctor you plan regular future visits to maintain a good result. Follow-up treatments normally require a smaller amount of the product. Most patients choose to have a follow-up treatment six to twelve months after an initial treatment of wrinkles. Lip Augmentation

Lip augmentation Restylane® is usualy carried out in two steps, Pouting and Contouring. Often a combination of our products is used.

Pouting & Contouring

To create a more pronounced mouth and fuller lips, the crystal-clear NASHA-gel is injected into the inside of the upper and/or lower lip. This is often combined with a marking of the vermilion border (lip line) by injecting the gel along the lip line. The lines that goes up to towards the nose (philtrum ridges) can be defined by injecting the gel in the lines. To achieve an optimal result a combination of these steps is often used.

When treating the lips pain relief in the form of a local anaesthetic is often used.

Fast and safe method with long lasting results

A treatment session can be carried out immediately and takes about 30 minutes. Since these products are totally non-animal, there is no risk of transmitting disease or eliciting allergic reactions if you are sensitive to common foods, such as beef, chicken and eggs.

Our products are biodegradable which means that they will gradually be absorbed. How long a treatment holds its effect is very individually and depends on many different factors. However, due to the very effective stabilization method the volume remains intact for a long period of time.
